Abstract

Village entrepreneurship plays a strategic role in local economic transformation by improving community welfare, creating jobs, and optimizing village resource potential. This study aims to assess the various factors that contribute to the successful development of village entrepreneurship and develop an integrative model that can support the sustainable growth of village enterprises. Using a comprehensive literature review method, this study analyzes relevant empirical findings and theories on village entrepreneurship, social capital, access to finance, managerial skills, and digital technology adoption. The results show that village entrepreneurship is strongly influenced by the presence of strong social capital, access to financial resources, effective policy support, and the integration of digital technology in business processes. However, there are still gaps in the literature, especially regarding the impact of digitalization on village enterprises, the role of gender in village entrepreneurship, and long-term evaluation of village-based economic empowerment programs. In addition, collaboration between small businesses in villages and the industrial sector has not been widely studied, even though it has great potential in increasing the competitiveness of village products in the wider market.
